Training Authentic Shaolin Kungfu,Qi Gong
Born with a passion for martial arts, Master Yan Xu began training at a young age under a local family descended from a Qing Dynasty general. In 1994, driven by a thirst for deeper knowledge, he journeyed to the legendary Shaolin Temple of China—the birthplace of Chan (Zen) Buddhism and Shaolin martial arts.
There, he studied under revered masters including Shi Yong Zhi and later became a disciple of Abbot Shi Yong Xin, focusing his practice on Chan (Zen) meditation and traditional Shaolin Kung Fu. Over two decades, Master Yan Xu conducted in-depth research into ancient Shaolin health cultivation practices such as Yi Jin Jing (Tendon Transformation) and Xi Sui Jing (Bone Marrow Cleansing). His martial training was further enriched under senior warrior monks Fu Zhi Qian and Gao Dejiang.
In his spiritual development, he advanced under the guidance of Chan Master Hui Tong, gaining a profound understanding of Chinese Zen philosophy. Beyond Shaolin, Master Yan Xu studied a range of classical martial arts systems, including Tong Bei with Master Zhu Sheng An, as well as Bagua, Tai Chi, and Five Element Theory.
